Pumpkin spice cleaner for Autumn~3 diy blends

One of my favourite things about essential oils is how you can switch up your scents to match the seasons, and one of the simplest, most cost effective cleaners you can make it home is your multi-purpose cleaner.

So, when we shift from summer into fall, one of the first things I do, (when the bottles get low), is to switch the blends in our cleaning bottles.

If there was ONE diy item to swap in your home, because it it so easy, I would recommend it be your every day cleaner!

So, there is no better, yummier way to shift into Autumn by making some spicy, sweet, super effective cleaners and shift into cozy season.

Below, you’ll find:

3 reasons to add “pumpkin spice” essential oils to your multi-purpose cleaner:

  1. They have antibacterial and antifungal properties. These oils can help to kill harmful germs and prevent infections on various surfaces, such as countertops, floors, sinks, toilets, and more. They can also help to prevent mold and mildew growth in damp areas, such as bathrooms and kitchens.

  2. They have a pleasant and natural scent. These oils can help to create a warm, spicy, and inviting aroma in your home that can boost your mood and reduce stress. They can also help to mask or eliminate unpleasant odors, such as smoke, garbage, or pet smells.

  3. They are safe and eco-friendly. These oils are derived from natural sources and do not contain harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances that can harm your health or the environment. They are also biodegradable and do not leave any toxic residues or stains on your surfaces.

Multi-Purpose Cleaner Base:

The Recipes.

Recipe 1: This recipe uses equal parts of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and clove essential oils, and adds a touch of cardamom and orange essential oils for extra warmth and brightness.

5 drops cinnamon + 5 drops ginger + 5 drops nutmeg + 5 drops clove + 3 drops cardamom + 8 drops wild orange (add to your bottle with the rest of the cleaning ingredients, shake well)

Recipe 2: This recipe uses a similar ratio of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and clove essential oils as recipe 1, but adds vanilla essential oil instead of orange essential oil for a sweeter and creamier scent.

5 drops cinnamon + 3 drops ginger + 3 drops nutmeg + 5 drops clove + 3 drops cardamom + 10 drops Madagascar vanilla (add to your bottle with the rest of the cleaning ingredients, shake well)

Recipe 3: This recipe uses less cinnamon and ginger essential oils than recipes 1 and 2, but adds more clove and nutmeg essential oils for a spicier and richer scent.

4 drops cinnamon bark + 4 drops ginger + 3 drops clove + 3 drops cardamom (add to your bottle with the rest of the cleaning ingredients, shake well)
