Embracing Authentic Connection In Your Small Business: A Gentle Approach to Attracting Clients Online

Follow your gut.

The most important and powerful thing we can do when owning a small business, especially when we’re empaths, is to listen to our gut. Our intuition.

If all the noise and busy-ness online feels like too much, there may be a gentler way.

In an online world that often moves a little too fast, are you feeling like you need to take a step back, breathe, and connect with your clients, students and customers in a more meaningful way? Are you feeling the days of aggressive marketing tactics and high-pressure sales pitches are making you feel heavy and exhausted?

In your heart, does it feel like you are ready for a more authentic, gentler approach in your business-one that prioritizes relationships over transactions?

How do we create more authentic connections in our small businesses and turn them into paying clients?

It may be time to use your website to connect authentically.

Our websites, when used effectively, have the potential to be the most important tool for empaths running gentle, soul filled, compassionate businesses.

Gentle. Natural. Authentic.

When you are consistent and have the right tools, you can market yourself in a quieter way.

Websites (& Pinterest)

The Power of Authenticity

Authenticity is like a bright, warm light in the digital landscape. It draws people in, inviting them to linger and explore. When you show up as your true self—flaws and all—you create a space where others feel seen and understood. Your website becomes more than a collection of pages; it becomes a sanctuary for connection.

Navigating the Online Noise

The internet is a bustling marketplace, filled with noise and distractions. Amidst the chaos, many of us are seeking a quieter path—one that allows us to stand out without compromising our values. No longer are we satisfied with surface-level interactions; we’re craving depth, vulnerability, and genuine conversations and connections.

You can do this through your blog, online courses, and in your newsletter, (all from your site).

Our Website: A Sacred Space

Our websites are more than just digital storefronts; they’re inviting spaces where potential clients and students come seeking solace, inspiration, and solutions. As we weave our story into every page, remember that authenticity isn’t just a trendy word—it’s the heartbeat of our online presence. I often consider my website a comforting, familiar tool to express my true voice, a home online space where I have complete control, (blogging and writing our emails to send to very important people who signed up to our list because they want to hear from us).

Pinterest: A Non-intrusive Way To Share

Pinterest is a passive, gentle tool for guiding like-minded, gentle souls to your website. I know, we’re trying to get away from social media, but unlike some other platforms, Pinterest isn’t about high-pressure sales or aggressive marketing. It’s a quieter, calmer and beautiful space for creatives. It allows you to showcase your products, services, and brand in a gentle, non-intrusive way. People can explore your pins at their own pace, without feeling overwhelmed.

Your business matters.

Many of us are in our business, not to gain 1 million followers, or earn 6 figures. Some of us simply love what we do and really hope we can share that with others so that it makes their own small business better.

So, what is your heart saying to you about all the work you’ve been putting into creating content, making posts, reels, stories etc.?

I often look at my analytics on all the platforms after spending hours and hours creating content, hoping something sticks. It’s tough. Especially when platforms like IG and FB change their algorithms and rules daily.

The one place I have control over…is my website. It’s the one place, personally where it feels like “home” to me. And I’ve been generating meetings new customers reaching out about oils to use in their homes and yoga studios, all funneling from Pinterest and then to my website.

I invite you to reach out by text and book a time to either meet in person, or online. (30 minute meeting, includes our chat and follow up notes from me about our time together: $45)

Or simply browse my website or hop on Pinterest to see how I guide others from my posts I create back to my site/blog/pages.

I have created websites for other yoga teachers, health coaches and meditation instructors. In all the work I have done over the years…creating these special places for these amazing women has been one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever been a part of.

If you would like to work with me and create your new website, please reach out. ♥

I also wanted to share with you one of my collections of quotes that I share on Pinterest! This is one of the ways I gently navigate like-minded women to come visit my page (where you are now).

If this is something you would like to learn, email me and we can set up a 30 minute meeting on Google Meet. Email HERE
