Yoga Mat Spray

Yoga Mat Spray

Yield: 1, 1000 ml glass Mason jar (small mouth)
Author: Kellie Timmins
There are many yoga mat sprays on the market, but save money, time, (and extra unnecessary plastic) and make your own! The single oils in this blend are bug busting, spa-like and not only will your mat be super clean, the aroma will uplift your spirits!! ♥

Ingredients

In the Mason jar add:

Instructions

  1. Add all of your oils, witch hazel and *solubol into your jar.
  2. Mix around a little.
  3. Top off the blend with distilled water.
  4. Add on your *spray top

Notes

*What is Solubol? It is a dispersant. A natural emulsifier that helps essential oils stay dispersed through water-based products. (Emulsifiers allow you to mix substances that wouldn't otherwise combine, such as water and oil.) Solubol has a mild, barely-there aroma.

*Where can you get spray lids for your Mason jars? My absolute favourite, after years of trying different spray bottles for cleaners in our home and in my studio is a Mason Jar lid from Bear Country Kitchen in Ontario (link to buy is below).

*Alternatives to blending your own single oils are 3 different blends from doTERRA:

  1. OnGuard (protective blend)
  2. Abode (the refreshing blend)
  3. Purify (the cleansing blend)

(I have added links to these oils below if you would like to look at the ingredients)
