Soothing Coconut Milk Foot Soaks

Soothing Coconut Milk Foot Soaks
Author: Kellie Timmins
I adore a good foot bath. Given how much we rely on our feet, it's surprising how often they're overlooked. These soaks are a fantastic way to show them some love, particularly when a full bath isn't feasible. This recipe is adapted (I made a few changes) from Holly Brandenberger from The Science of Essentials.

Ingredients

Instructions

To make:
  1. In your pot, add about an inch of water. Place the Pyrex cup in the pot with the handle over the edge.
  2. Turn the stove on so that you bring the water to a slight bowl.
  3. Add coconut oil into the Pyrex. Melt fully.
  4. While the coconut oil is melting, add all the rest of your ingredients into your mixing bowl and blend well (I like to use my hands and break up any chunks from the Epsom salts or baking soda).
  5. Remove the Pyrex from the pot, place on a heat pad. Let cool slightly.
  6. Add your essential oils.
  7. Add the coconut oil and essential oil blend to the mixing bowl.
  8. Blend well. And then spray your mixture with the Rose hydrosol and witch hazel blend. Mix with your hands until the mixture is damp and sticks together well.
  9. The mix should stick together and not easily fall apart. BUT it shouldn't be too wet, either. If it is too wet it will expand in your molds.
  10. When you think it is ready, add the mixture into your molds.
